This course is a half-day course with pre and post tests, handouts, videos, and hundreds of tips to help with classroom management. We start with ten tenets of behavior. The stories told are real-life stories of students around the world that Dr. Riffel has worked with or helped staff mitigate behaviors. She shares the humor, the lessons learned, and gives interventions you can take back and use the next day.

This half-day course will cover:

• ten rules that govern behavior
• using a competing pathway model to address one of the biggest issues of blurting
• finally it will cover ways to reinforce appropriate behavior when you see it.

This is a shortened version of the one day seminar. This course has a certificate for five hours of professional development.
